3D Virtual Tours
Eisenhower Room & NATO COMCEN
Explore one of Gibraltar's most interesting historical sites.
UNESCO World Heritage Site
We developed an extensive 3D virtual tour of Eisenhower’s Office and the NATO COMCEN, now proudly featured on the Visit Gibraltar website. This historical site holds immense significance, having been a strategic operational hub during World War II, yet it remains inaccessible to the general public due to its sensitive and preserved status. Recognising the importance of making such a pivotal location accessible to history enthusiasts and scholars, we meticulously captured every detail of the office and command centre using advanced imaging and 3D modelling techniques. Our virtual tour provides a unique opportunity to explore Eisenhower’s Office, where critical decisions were made, and the NATO COMCEN, which played a crucial role in the coordination of military operations.
Through our detailed digital representation, users can immerse themselves in the environment as it was during a defining period of global history. The tour allows viewers to virtually walk through the rooms, examine historical artefacts, and gain insights into the operations that took place within these walls. This project not only brings to life the strategic and historical importance of the site but also preserves its legacy for future generations. By offering this virtual tour on the Visit Gibraltar website, we have created a valuable educational tool that ensures the story of Eisenhower’s Office and the NATO COMCEN can be appreciated and studied by a global audience, regardless of physical access limitations. Our work allows history enthusiasts to delve into the past and experience a significant piece of military history from the comfort of their own homes.
